Here’s where things get fun: the Underglaze Pencil. Ideal for adding those charming hand-drawn designs or just writing "Made with love" on the bottom of your piece. Fires up to Cone 10, but beware— turn up the heat and colors might fade a touch.
-Completely lead-free. -Smudge-proof? Mostly. Sponge on the first coat to make sure nothing goes awry, then brush a couple of coats or dip for the finale! -Good to go on bisque! -Clear glaze and fire for food-safe finish. -Mix and smudge and blend away.
Firing range: between Cone 06 (999°C) – Cone 10 (1,305°C).
